We are excited to announce our first Summer Kids Paint Party Camp at the Red Truck Barn!!!!  We will be offering age appropriate paint projects each day.  It's going to be a blast!  Using a variety of mediums, we will be working in tempera, acrylic, watercolor and even clay!  

Your kids will create original artworks inspired by our dynamic curriculum for the week.  Building their confidence and having fun nurturing their talents is our goal!  Whether a beginner or an advanced student, we strive for all levels to have the opportunity to advance their skills.

  • Days: Monday - Friday July 18 - 22  

  •  Kids age 8 - 12  1:00 - 4:00

  • Cost: $125 per student for 5-day session

What you need to know

Curriculum

Drawing: Students develop self confidence while learning contour, proportion and perspective.

Painting:  Most of our projects will be exploring different techniques all while learning about color, design and composition.

Clay Sculpture: experiment with making a composition and learning different possibilities of how to use clay in art work.

What time should you bring your child

Sign-in for kids 8-12 will be at 12:40 for the first day.

All the other days, kids may be dropped off no earlier than 15 min. before class begins.  All kids should be picked up promptly at the end of class time.

What to wear

Making art can get messy, especially for small children.  Aprons will be provided but are not a guarantee to keep paint off your child's clothing.  While all the supplies your child will use during art camp are child safe, they are not washable.  We ask that you dress your child in clothing that you do not mind them getting paint on.

Art Exhibit

Friday, July 22, we will have their art work on display at the end of their time on Friday so when you come to pick them up you are welcome to come look and encourage these aspiring artist with their work!

What to bring

Pack a snack and water bottle (or preferred drink). Please avoid packing anything with nuts to keep our friends with allergies safe.

Cancellation Policy

Please understand that our camp size is kept small 10 - 12 students to facilitate learning and individualized attention, resulting in the camp filling up quickly.  Last minute cancellations keep other kids from enjoying our camp.  Thanks for understanding.  

CANCELLATION POLICY BEFORE CAMP BEGINS:  Any cancellations 7 days prior to the start of the camp, we will refund tuition minus a $75 cancellation fee per student. If you cancel after that you will forfeit full tuition.  If you have another child that can attend in that child's place, that will be permitted.

Don't forget to register and pay to sign your child up!
